This is a page for Touch Stories.  Here is one to get me started. It was sent to me by a friend on her Birthday card to me. She is a tour guide and had taken a bus load of students to Washington, D.C.

I think of the power of touch, and thought I'd share that, while I was in Washington, my student group and I met a Viet Nam vet.  He allowed us to hug him in thanks for his service.  We all were guite moved by the privilege - tears in the eyes of the man (my own) and his friends who were with him AND the students made it obvious how important touch is as a healing force.
